It's no secret that enrolling in college or university might put a dent in your wallet. This might lead students to apply for loans and bursaries. Here are some helpful tips to help students stress less about their financial situation and enjoy going to school:

1. Apply Early For Loans & Bursaries

It's always good to apply 4 months before the semester to avoid any sort of complications which may enable you to put your tuition on time.

2. Always Apply For Free Money

Many students are unaware of bursaries and scholarships. The advantages are: you do not need to pay back, pay interest and someone is kindly paying on their behalf! Always keep a lookout 2 - 3 months prior to the fall or winter semester.

3. Apply For a Part-Time Job

Getting a part-time job while you're in college or university is beneficial. It's important to realize that receiving a loan, bursary or scholarship doesn't enable you from working because eventually, you need to payback the government. Getting a job that works around your schedule is beneficial because it allows you to avoid spending your loan, learn to have great time management, and most importantly it allows you to save for your repayment!
